Volunteer Profile: Ryan Overturf

Brother Overturf is an alumnus of the PA Alpha Delta chapter at Temple University. During his time as an undergraduate brother he served as President (Rex). After hearing about the recolonization efforts for his chapter in 2009 he immediately got involved as a Chapter Advisor in order to “help guide the new executive board in shaping their strategic plan and measuring their performance against their goals”.

Brother Overturf had this to say to those who are considering volunteer opportunities “Jump in! Chapter involvement is the easiest way to get involved, and the undergraduates can always benefit from a little more consistency and guidance from their alumni.  They need to find their own way; however, as brothers it is our duty to help set the parameters in which they get to explore all the different paths to success. This is the most rewarding aspect.”
